How long will my child need to use a bed rail?
You can start using the bed rail as soon as your child starts using a cot or bedside crib.
There is no set rule for how long you can use a bed rail. However, you may want to reconsider whether it still makes sense to use a bed rail if your child increasingly starts to play with it or climb on it. It is very typical for the bed rail to be replaced with a bed rail when the child moves from a baby bed or crib to a larger bed.
What is a bed rail used for?
A bed rail is a really smart thing to have in your child's bed. It acts as a soft protection that helps ensure that your little one doesn't hit the bars or get their arms and legs caught between them. In other words, the bed rail helps create a more comfortable and safe sleeping place for your child.
How much does a bed skirt cost?
Bed slats come in many different price ranges, and there is often a clear correlation between price and quality. The vast majority are filled with either foam or polyester (plastic).
Our bed skirt, which is filled with organic kapok , costs DKK 799 and delivers great value for money. You also get free shipping on purchases over DKK 600, so you don't have to pay for anything other than the product itself when you shop with us.
How do you install a bed rail?
Installing our bed rail is super easy, but please take the time to get the bed rail to fit perfectly when you install it for the first time. You will be happy with it, and once it is in place, you can enjoy the sight of your child's beautiful sleeping place for a long time to come. Start by taking the mattress out of your child's bed. Tie the bed rail to the slats so that it is well stretched out and does not flap. Now put the mattress back in the bed so that the extra textile panel is folded down under the mattress. This ensures that little arms and legs cannot get between the slats. Now check that everything is in order, and voila - your little son or daughter can now sleep safely in a cozy and perfectly protected bed.
Tip : Our Bed Hose can also be used in the crib.
Which bed rail is suitable for my child's crib?
Our bed skirt measures 360 cm in length and 27 cm in height. In addition, there is an extra panel of textile that folds under the mattress for extra safety. These dimensions make the bed skirt suitable for all common cots. The bed skirt fits, for example, perfectly for classic cots measuring 120 x 60 cm. If the bed skirt is too long, it can easily overlap. It is a good idea to check the dimensions of your child's cot before ordering the bed skirt, so that you are sure that there is a match.
How do you wash a bed skirt?
The LALATOTO bed skirt is not machine washable, but you can of course remove stains and dirt when the accident happens. Simply use mild soap and water for this purpose. Then the bed skirt will soon be as good as new again.
